What do I need?
Baila y Bebe offers a great way to workout, enjoy Latin music and learn basic dance steps. All you need is a baby carrier/sling.
Please remember that your baby should be safely secured in the carrier of your choice. For smaller babies please make sure they have neck support. Your baby’s face should be visible and airway completely unblocked by the carrier.
Can I participate?
For the safety of both you and your baby, mom should have gone to her 6 week post-partum checkup and been given the okay by her physician to proceed with dance classes.
Class is 45-minutes and mommy should feel comfortable using a baby carrier. No dance experience is necessary.
What do I need to bring?
We suggest you wear comfy clothes. Classes are barefoot, you may use flat dance shoes not worn outdoors or grip socks.
What if my baby is fussy or hungry?
Baila y Bebe is a baby friendly dance class. Instructors are mommies themselves and completely understand when babies get fussy, sleepy or hungry. If you need a break, or need to feed your baby; please feel free and comfortable to do so. We recommend you feed your baby one hour before class starts.
